NxtCell India will oversee the production and distribution of Alcatel’s devices in India, making the smartphones locally available to meet the demands of Indian consumers. This strategic collaboration is part of Alcatel’s larger plan to invest $30 million (₹260 crore) to restart its smartphone business in India.
Furthermore, Alcatel has partnered with Flipkart to sell its devices, tapping into the e-commerce giant’s vast reach across India. This partnership also ensures that Alcatel smartphones will be easily available to customers through Flipkart’s marketplace and its FK Minutes service, providing quick delivery and reliable after sales support.
